What this site collects

The website itself has no user accounts. Personal data is collected in one place only: the chat, and only what you choose to type into it.

• The enquiry form on the contact page opens your own email client with the details you typed. Nothing is submitted to or retained by this website.
• Two items are stored in your browser only: a flag recording that you have accepted the Bar Council disclaimer, and, if you use the chat, a random code that lets the conversation continue when you reload the page. “Start a new chat” removes it.
• Fonts are served by Google Fonts and the office map is embedded from Google Maps. Those requests are subject to Google's own privacy policy.

The website chat

If you use the “Ask Adlegus” chat, the firm keeps the conversation and any details you give in it: typically your name, phone number, the area of law, and the name of the other party to your matter. The other party's name is asked for one reason only — so the firm can check it has no conflict of interest before an advocate speaks with you. Please do not share confidential details of your matter in the chat.

• Who sees it: members of the firm who answer chats.
• Where it is kept: on Cloudflare's infrastructure, sent over an encrypted connection.
• How long: closed chats are deleted automatically after 180 days, and chats where no contact details were given after 30 days. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner.
• Automated answers: the assistant that replies first is automated. Where AI answers are switched on, your typed questions are sent to the firm's AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply; they are not used to train its models.

Email you send us

Any email you send is held in the firm's mail system and treated as confidential correspondence. It is used only to respond to your enquiry.

Your rights

Write to support@adlegus.in to ask what the firm holds about you, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
